Hi, my name is Andrew.
If you’re reading this, you probably either worked with me in the past, or you’re interested in hiring me. In either case, I thank you sincerely for considering me.
However, I’m currently no longer looking for employment.
Over the past 4 years, I’ve been paying attention to the economy, and in particular the massive inflation that rose during 2021 and 2022. Cost of living never came back down, the acceleration just slowed down a bit.
It’s clear to me now that working a typical job for a salary is flawed. If you don’t get a raise every year, then you’re effectively being paid less every year. This is true for every profession except for sales (when paid on commission), investing, and entrepreneurship. Our compensation shouldn’t be measured in national currencies, it should be measured as a percentage of average cost of living. If an employee’s compensation is cut, productivity should be expected to decrease as well. It’s only logical. Productivity won’t remain the same just because the salary amount hasn’t changed.
I’m not a salesman and I don’t have the capital for investing, so entrepreneurship is my only remaining option.
If you’re interested in working with me on a project, send me a message on linkedin.
